Good: Bradleys real time rpi #41
Bad: Valley drops to #7 conference

How have we dropped so much? It doesn't seem like we'd be able to fall much during conference play.

Good chance it will come back up during the BracketBuster!

I think the overall conference RPI is hurt a bit when lower ranked teams, with lower SOS's knock off the better teams.

As usual, you are right Coach. For instance, with a little over 2 minutes left, Depaul leads Marquette by 6. If Depaul wins, our RPI will jump and The Valley will probably go ahead of the BIG East into 6th.
The Valley, Big East, and BIG 12 are REALLY close.

            DePaul wins 72-67

BTW looked at the womens RPI wow BU's a horrible 229!! I suppose it could be worse MSU's is 253, how did their program fall apart so badly? Conference a equally horrible 15th.

Women's college hoops has a long way to go before it reaches the parity of the men's today.

I think there is parity within a conference like the MVC at times, but in all reality, nobody in the MVC could come close to what the top 10 teams are doing nationally.

Ya I know but man thats some seriously bad RPI, the MVC wasnt that far off the radar a few years ago but now its certainly bad. Would though really like to know how MSU got that bad. They were in the final four what 6 years ago.

Didn't the coach from Mo St go to like Purdue or something (after J Stiles)?

Possible marquee wins by the conference (e.g., WSU over LSU) in pre-conference play may not have the same positive influence now as early as those marquee teams have continued to drop some games in their conference play.
