So, I was gonna post about how ridiculous it was Drexel and ODU were getting mentions before BU, then I looked at their resumes. It looks like the CAA is really a much better league than I realized. Just those two teams have wins @Georgetown, @Villanova, @ Syracuse, @ VA Tech, UAB. So while I'm dissapointed that BU's got serious competition from 3rd and 4th place teams in another mid major, heres to the CAA, also making a name for themselves.
I suppose the U of I's best win is versus Indiana, Michigan State Iowa at home and US neutral.
They have beaten no one on the road other then Minnesota and Northwestern.
They will have a nice 20 win overall record but it is an extremely empty win total. They also did not have to go to either OSU or Wisconsin.
If they get in they should have to win at both Penn State and at Iowa and a game in the Big11ten tourney.
But me thinks that a split at of the last 4 games and a .500 record will be enough for the Illini, but they are not in my mind deserving of an atlarge unless they either sweep out or go 3-1 and win a game in the conference tourney.
