  • Other Valley games on Saturday, who do we root for?

    UNI vs. MSU
    SIU vs. CU

  • #2
MSU over UNI, and CU-SIU is a wash. I'll be rooting for SIU, because I hate that 30 year old Nate Funk.

At this point, Missouri St (a UNI win hurts Mo St AND MVC).

As for the SIU/CU game, I am rooting for SIU because I want us to finish in the 4/5 slot and them the 1 slot... and if we can win our first game in the conference tourney - I wanna take the Dawgs out of the tourney before America can see how awfull they are (for tv and for the MVC).

Defintely MSU by eleventy billion miles. Let them secure an at-large and let us secure the 4-5 game.

I'd like to see SIU get a protected seed, too. So them as well.

I think from here on in, root for WSU. They have enough of a profile to make a run to an at-large, and that'll just make our quarterfinal win over them in StL look that much better.

I really think BU wore Southern out on Saturday. SIU looking really sluggish tonight at home. There stellar home loss record is in danger of taking a hit. I think Bradley could of taken SIU tonight if there shots were falling.

I KNOW Bradley could have taken SIU the OTHER night if our shots were falling

Well SIU escapes once again despite a poor game all around for them. Creighton had a great chance at the end but rushed it to much I believe, didn't even bother to run a straight 10 second play. Thats alright, Creighton needed to lose. I think they tried to show us up at home by bombing all those 3's to start the game. Trying to show us up that anybody can make a 3. Tis going to be an interesting last 4 games in the top half of the conference.
