  • Illinois State ranked #15 by FoxSports

Jeff Goodman, who covers college basketball for FoxSports, just posted his Power Rankings (his top 20 teams).

At #15 he has Illinois State! He obviously meant for #15 to be Southern Illinois, but there is a mistake, and the name "Illinois State" and the Redbird logo show up at #15.
How funny! Even when someone recognizes the Valley, they still show how little they know!
It might get corrected before long, but I thought it was funny enought to post>>

    Info Babe

Goodman probably handed this over to some repoterette info-babe intern who knows nothing about sports and told her to match up the logos to the team

Maybe I am going to sound a little hard on this, but golly,
this guy is a professional and he does this FULL TIME for a living!
I think it's inexcusable that he (or his proofreader) doesn't know the
      difference between SIU and ISU.

On the BU game today, the announcer was talking about someones NCAA tourney prediction picks and they said they saw a site on the net that had Creighton, Southern, MO State and Evansville LOL. Then they went on to talk about how the MVC doesn't get any attention by the "experts".
