  • DePaul knocks off #21 ND

It's about time they get a decent win, It's a little late to help us much, but it can't hurt.

Knocking off #5 at the time Kansas wasn't a decent win? Honestly, they have a more impressive resume for the tournament than we do right now. When given the chance to beat good teams, they have done that somewhat...over two ranked clubs (Kansas, ND) as well as an RPI top 20 win AT Villanova. DePaul is also 5-8 versus the RPI top 100 whereas Bradley is just 3-9.

I don't think either deserves a shot at the tourney but to say "it's about time" isn't really fair to the Blue Demons.

Good point, I guess I didn't really notice all the wins they had.

Easy to miss, I just follow DePaul as well because I live up near Chicago.

I can't say I'd like to play DePaul again in the NIT either, as they've improved A LOT since we opened the season with them. They're capable of knocking off anyone on a given night, but also capable of losing to subpar teams as well.
