To clear everything, i think jim les is a goodcoach, but he has lacked in some departments in the last few games. Dana Altman of the Bluejays just out coached Les in that game. Altman threw many different curveballs at Les and the squad and i thought that Les didnt handle it very well. Well tonite in the Southern game Les did a decent job. i believe that he needs to make a few more subs in the game(although i did like that Sam Singh got more pt against southern)i think he is wearin out Franklin he avg. 34 min a game and Warren only avg.15 which dont get me wrong, for a fresh. that is pretty good. i still think he could see more time. To end this i think Les should make more in game adjustments if the off. or def. is gettin burned and a few more subs.

Jim is doing his best coaching job BY FAR this season. He's gotten more out of this group than anyone imagined. There's no need to split hairs on one game. We battled hard, we just shot about as bad as a team can shoot. Yet, with 2 minutes left, we had a chance to win. We have a great coach leading this program to great things, this year and beyond. We'll bounce back from this. I'll be suprised if we lose another game this season.

There are 2 different coaching philosophies-
Stay with whoever is the hottest shooters down the stretch, or stay with your starters, & your jr. and sr. leaders. In the long run, maybe the 2nd choice will win you more games. Tonight, maybe we would have been better to have JC and/or Warren in there. But Jims philosophy has always been to go with the veterans. I can't find too much fault with his choice.

How many other coaches could get this much out of a team with only one player over 6'7"? Not too many. Keep up the good work Jim.

Besides, as mentioned on the Jim Les radio show on Monday, JC would not be up to full strength the remainder of the year. That's most likely why he was not in most of the second half.

Coach, if you saw the game (since it will be run on tape delay here in Chicago at 1:30 in the morning, which may not be a bad thing!), were the 3 point attempts open, or did SIU guard the perimeter well enough to cause too many forced shots?

yeah but ray is suspended, jassey is virtually worthless, and singh isnt fast enough to play in the up-tempo style we are running.
