  • ESPN.com Page 2 Tour of the Valley

I don't know if this had been posted on here yet, but it's got 3 stories up now as they are sending a reporter on a tour of the Valley. Here's day 1 in Wichita and traveling to Omaha:

Page 2's resident college basketball junkie, Kieran Darcy, hits the road for a grassroots tour of the Missouri Valley Conference.

Day 2 in Cedar Falls and Des Moines:

Page 2's resident college basketball junkie, Kieran Darcy, hits the road for a grassroots tour of the Missouri Valley Conference.

Day 3 was in Springfield, MO last night:

Page 2's resident college basketball junkie, Kieran Darcy, hits the road for a grassroots tour of the Missouri Valley Conference.

He'll be in Carbondale today for the SIU Bradley game.

I've been keeping up with these, pretty decent. Wonder what he'll say about BU.

I hadn't seen these, thanks for posting them, it's a great read. Is there any chance he is in Peoria for the Drake game Saturday?

        No. He's done on Thursday.

Upcoming stops: Monday, Northern Iowa; Tuesday, Missouri State; Wednesday, Southern Illinois; Thursday, Evansville.

I'm guessing he won't have much on BU since he hasn't said much about the visiting team. If the ISU/MSU would have been in Normal, I'm sure he would have stopped by Peoria and been able to drive on interstates instead of backroads.

Latest article is up about SIU. There is a side column about Bradley:

Call me a Kool Aid drinking fan if you want, but I will be proud of this team's accomplishments this season even if we have to settle for the NIT. Sure, I would rather go to the NCAA, but remember, most "experts" picked this team to be .500 or less and 8th or 9th in the Valley.

Losing at SIU is nothing to be embarrassed about. I was bothered a lot more by a couple other earlier losses, but nobody else in the MVC has won at SIU in the past 5 years (except Indiana State, of all teams, last year!). I was proud of them that they never quit and made a late run despite the horrendous shooting.

The rest of this season will be fun, and we should be excited about Bradleys future. Ray Brown, Jeremy Fears, DeAaron Williams, and a healthy Sam Singh will add to the returning players. Also, one of the strongest, and largest incoming recruiting classes will insure that Bradley continues it's climb back to the top of the MVC.

              Gross Oversight

This is outrageous. How can you do a tour of the valley and not visit either of the schools involved in the conference's best rivalry? Pathetic!
Bradley by birth, Duke by diploma. Both forevermore.

Amen! I agree 100% with everything said here. We'll be cutting down the nets next year with an MVC title.

Height? You Bet. Will Egolf 6'9". Anthony Thompson 6'10". "Possible" 6'9" Juco.
DeArron Williams 6'5" and Jeremy Fears 6'4" can really elevate.
However, I will believe Williams is here when I actually see him in a Bradley uniform.

I believe a 6'9" Juco from Colorado has been prominently mentioned on this site?
