  • Franklin vs. Tatum

Interesting. CBS Sortsline, game summary Bradley vs. SIU, shows a comparison between Tatum and Frankilin. Surprisingly Will leads Jamal in every important offensive category but rebounds.
Perhaps one of our more computer literate fans could post those stats on this sight.
I found them not only interesting but, surprising!

Not too much difference between the stats of the two players (mvc.org - all games)

    Franklin
    shooting 44.1%, 3point 44.4%, ft 77.9%, 2.9 rpg, 102 assists, 50 to, 39 steals, 15.4 ppg

    Tatum
    shooting 43.1%, 3point 41.2%, ft 75.8%, 3.3 rpg, 56 assists, 56 to, 27 steals, 14.5 ppg

Tatum has a few more rebounds, but Franklin has double the assists.

Yes, and Tatum will be 1st team MVC and Will (The Rodney Dangerfield of college basketball) will probably get no mention.

I bet if BU wins tonight, Will will start getting some major press.

You guys forgot 1 thing though, Tatum is an Egyptian Dog, playing in Little Egypt. That has to account for something these days.

Does anyone know why Tatum didn't play in the second half last night. I thought I saw him pull up lame early in the first half and limp for a minute or two, but he kept playing, so I duno if that was it or no?

I might be wrong, but I thought they said he was sick. Not positive though.

there was a report that he had a deep thigh bruise that he suffered in practice...

I guess they beat on each other in practice too!

I think the T.V. announcers, which were , said he was fighting a sickness. It's too bad BU couldn't have taken advantage of this more.
