He sounds a little like another Darren Brooks, a big guard that can shoot and play both guard positions. Good for SIU.

But Coach, how do you do it? I checked the SIU board and Valley Talk, and nobody else has reported this yet. I am sure they all will by tomorrow, but again you Bradleyfans guys are really on top of things. Thanks for the information!

Yup, thanks for reporting this stuff. I know it's not Bradley news, but it's the kind of stuff that Bradley fans like to know and read about. This is the place to find anything related to BU and MVC basketball. I always start and end my day reading here. Great work.
Now when will we hear about Bradley's next commit?

Ok, this kid sounds like a good 6-3 combo guard kinda player.
But isn't that what Tyrone Green, Wesley Clemmons, Josh Bone, and their 2007 recruit Brandon Wood and 2008 recruit Chris Parrish all are?
Five of these guys will still be around for that position in 2008-2009, so playing time at the SG will be a battle.
This must mean they will not be going as hard after Matt Roth, Nick Freundt, or Iman Shumpert?
Any SIU people that can add to this?

            I like this!
Does Bradley have one of these charts!
            If not, they should.

I agree that would be great. I would like to help put one together for bradleyfans, but I don't know that I'm skilled enough. Only change I would make would be to include the walk ons and their eligibility at the bottom.

That is great, I really think that would be helpful.

SIU now has 2 commits for their 2008 class-
Chris Parrish- 6'2" small forward/off guard

                  Torres Roundtree-6'3" shooting guard http://rivalshoops.rivals.com/viewpr...2&pr_key=57833

They look like very similar players. If anyone is familiar with these kids let up know how they differ.

Here is what a search of internet sites reaveals about Roundtree- He plays some point guard, but is mostly an off guard. He averages 17-18 ppg, and scores mostly on drives and inside shots and averages 6 rebounds a game. His outside shot is improving, but he is not a 3-point shooter. One site that list stats for Missouri kids lists that he is just 5-16 from 3-point range this season.

With both Matt Shaw and Randall Falker gone by 2008, I suspect they will use their remaining 1 or 2 scholarships for 2008 on big men. That could be good news for Bradley. SIU was also heavily recruiting these 2008 kids that Bradley also is involved with--
Nick Freundt, Matt Roth, Iman Shumpert, Scott Suggs, Rob Belcore, Verdell Jones, and 2009 recruit Joseph Bertrand, and maybe a few more.

I tried to draw up a recruit chart like the one on the SIU site,
here is the best I can do:

Each D-I team can have 13 players on full scholarship in any given season.

That grid looks like it was cut out of MS Spreadsheet.

I could put all the info in a spreadsheet... but then getting it to post in a thread on this site - I think it will fall apart.

An html table could easily work... gimme some time and I'll see what I can do and maybe post a link to it.

I would think Bobby Parker should/would do this as part of his job?
I believe any Bradley Fan would like this info and he is SID.
