Crap! Looks like the Big East and Big 12 are going to overtake the MVC in conference rpi. It is getting close. I KNOW... CONFERENCES DON'T GET BIDS! However, if the MVC finishes higher than those 2 it can't do anything but help. If the MVC finishes lower then it is just: "see, the Valley isn't that good after all" from the Pro-BCS media.

BracketBuster can help stem the tide on this.
My real worry is the Mountain West, especially with BYU emerging to form a 3-way breakaway. That's the one conference that we can't get leapfrogged by. -

Not sure how this will affect things....
The MVC teams all have 5 games left in conference.
The BCS conferences all have 6-8 games in conference left (and I'd say most have 8, second most 7, a few have 6).
Could be worse for MVC - could be better - who knows?
I still like what Jerry Palm says:
I think a conference game is like a "team" playing itself, so it shouldn't be included. The NCAA calculates conference rankings both ways.Comment
