Well, the wmbdradio link is down again. Kind of frustrating when that's the only source of Bradley basketball for an out of towner like me. Hopefully the thing works better than last week for the ISU game for the SIU game.
Chuck Buescher is on tonight as Jim is scouting
Not much new just a bit about how valuable DRuff is and how improtant it is to keep Zach in the game and get more out of JC.
Coach Chuck Buescher is on with Dave Snell instead of Coach Les. Coach Les might call in later in the show.
They are talking about Jeremy Crouch- he is getting better but may not get back to 100% this season.
They have also talked a little about the games this week.
I would like to hear some of the posters on this board that have some anti-views towards players to have the courage to call in and ask Jim Les a direct question regarding those players.
Jim was on for the final 25 minutes, and one question was how we looked so bad at Creighton.
Jim Les answered that he wasn't sure, but CU changed some things enough on offense that pre-game preparations were off a bit.
Another caller asked about why we scheduled SIU-E and JL answered the open date came about late due to the exempt tourney and competition for decent teams was hot, with several MVC teams trying.
Getting a 300+ RPI opponent would have hurt more now seeing that our RPI is where it is.
Wow. I emailed Bobby Parker and he responded in a matter of minutes.
Apparently a podcast has been discussed briefly and may be considered again in the spring/summer.
I think podcasts are a great way to keep up with teams that aren't regularly on national TV/Radio. I listen to the Chicago Blackhawks podcast all the time since there's no coverage in Chicago.
The inconsistency of the bubraves audio stream is just maddening these past couple games. It will work for one half, and then not the next. I have tried different computers, different media players, etc.
On Saturday I had to resort to paying good money to get the video stream. It ended up just being the feed to the Redbird scoreboard. Which meant that about the time Bradley would penetrate to the lane they would cut to super cheap "DE-FENSE!!!" graphics and I would miss the end of every play.

Where did you get your video stream from? Because, the one I watched online was the WMBD feed (through Bubraves.tv) and it was just fine. Wichita State has been maddening for their problems with doing this but I don't believe this was a problem through bubraves.tv (at least it wasn't for me).
I've noticed that the past few games only worked for one half (last game was only the first half). I don't think its BU's fault, the audio steam appears to be a direct link to WMBD media player. It seems to be I have tried to listen to WMBD programming online, but I still get the same issues. I could not find who to direct this problem to on the WMBD website. I hope tonight is better...
I sumbitted a complaint and this is what someone wrote back:
"We apologize that you had technical difficulties with our web broadcast. Here are a couple of things to check for future events.
Do you have a router to share you internet connection with multiple computers?
If so then the router would need to be configured to allow multicasting for streams to come through. For assistance with configuration please consult the manufacturer.
Do you have a firewall enabled?
If so then this would also need to be configured to allow multicasting. Another option would be to disable the firewall for the event and then enabled once the event is over. For assistance with configuration please consult the manufacturer."
If any of that was the case why would it have worked for the first 22 games of the season on this very computer???
I know as of yesterday only the first half of Saturday's game was posted in the audio archives. This would tell me it's their fault, not router, connection, etc issues...
