To the students that have come to the games this year I commend them as they have made for a great atmosphere; to the ones that only showed up for the Illinois State game I would like to figure out why only that game; your team played great that night so I would have thought that you would want to see more?

I agree, the overall student attendance for the Creighton game was dissapointing, the student section around the band was filled, but the upper bowl section was nearly empty. This is puzzling, especially after they saw Bradley at its best against isu. Thanks to those students who do show up every game. And to those of you who didn't show up vs. Creighton, we are gonna need you, especially against Northern Iowa.DUBL R 1

I thought the students that were at the CU game did a great job. They were loud when they needed to be and they continued to cheer even when things weren't going so well for BU. Great job and keep up the good work! Bring a friend or two for the last three home games. WE NEED YOU!

I really don't understand why no one showed up V Creighton, don't get me wrong, there isn't a real push by the AD's office to get people there. But everyones talking about the games and they're a fairly big deal among students. This season I have turned about 8 friends into die-hard fans by dragging them to games. I really thought after as great as the ISU game was we'd be getting quite a bit at the remaining games.

I agree too, my original post didn't reflect that, the students who were at the creighton game were tremendous. They were loud and standing, and energetic. Those students at that game were great, even as the team was struggling most of the game.DUBL R 1

IMO, the lack of students at the Creighton game is the effect of the increased student interest. I know this sounds weird, but hear me out...In the past couple of years, you could show up a few minutes before a game and still get seats on the floor on most nights. This year, and especially in the last few games, students have had to line up at least an hour before the game and wait outside to get those seats. If a student doesn't want to wait in the cold or has class or another obligation that lasts until near game time, they know they will have to sit in the nose bleed student seats. While that encourages the die-hards to show up earlier, it can make anyone else decide they can get a better view from the TV.

Let me just say that it is amazing sitting front row and not being mad about getting there an hour early before the game to get there. However, we were spoiled before by getting there at 7 p.m. and getting at least 3rd row. i think it shows the die hard students that are increasing and the student section is only going to grow.
