Reminder- the Jim Les radio show is scheduled to air tonight on WMBD radio at 6:00 pm with Dave Snell.
They should discuss VCU and the upcoming Creighton and ISU games.
Coach Eric Buescher filled in for the head coach the first half hour as Coach Les was on the recruiting trail. They discussed the upcoming game with Creighton and the Bracket Buster, as well as the remaining MVC games.
Coach Buescher talked a little about how Bradley's recruits are doing, and how we plan to stop Nate Funk.
They answered a couple calls. One caller asked about possibly getting a juco big man and redshirting Anthony Thompson. Coach Les said he never recruits kids with plans to redshirt, and told about how they thought of redshirting Patrick O'Bryant. But instead he ended up being a starter from day 1. He did not reply to the juco possibility.
Also, coach Eric Buescher said that assistant Lennox Forrester was going to make a trip in the upcoming few days up to Juneau to watch Will Egolf play.
They talked about Egolf, and his team's back to back wins this past weekend over the top ranked team in Alaska, and how very good Will Egolf is.
Also they talked about the game after game performances of Daniel Ruffin, even how the people at Missouri State were awed by him and gave him some well deserved props, even though he was an opponent. Also Porter Moser heaped praise on DR.
Ruffin appears in the top 10 of SIX different statistical categories in the MVC.
(scoring, assists, steals, A/T Ratio, 3-pt FFG, minutes played) and is in the top 3 of 3 of them.
Only one player in the league shows up better in more statistical categories, only Will Franklin!
