A while ago posters asked about how Stan Albeck was doing.
Here is an article about Stan and wife Phyllis visiting Adrian College (in Adrian, Michigan). Stan's first coaching job was at Adrian College. The article says he has recovered from the stroke he suffered in 2001, and since has been living in San Antonio. Also, that "Albeck is currently in the area because he is attending the University of Michigan speech clinic to get help with speech therapy".
Though Stan did not have great success at Bradley after Hersey and the great class of 1988 left, he is a great guy, and was extremely well liked in his 5 years at Bradley. If Stan is recovered enough to travel, I would like to see Bradley have him back to Peoria for a future game and honor him in some way.
