  • The Crazy MVC

Andy Glockner and Doug Gottlieb discussed on ESPNU webcast about the crazy conferences in the nation right now and talked of the SEC and the MVC. The basically stated the obvious things, we all know each other, we beat each other up a lot, but they stated that this is what they love about us. Bradley was mentioned about how we lost so much offense, we changed our scoring montra, we lost crouch, and yet we are still 6-4. They believe we are going to get 4 maybe 5 but nothing is set until arch madness is over but SIU is a lock.

Funny things said tho, Barry will be crying on tv if they lose tonight(tho no one will see it on tv)
Nate Funk has been playing since the Reagan adminstration and have by far the smallest head of anyone in college basketball

      Because he has been?

I believe so. He was granted a "medical hardship" last year by the NCAA and MVC.

Nate Funk enrolled at Creighton in Fall of 2001. He's the Dean of Valley players...

Though it is possible to get a 6th year by special waiver from the NCAA, Funk is actually in his 5th season at Creighton. Here is his bio. He graduated from Bishop Heelan high school of Sioux City, IA, in 2002.--
Page Not Found (404): It looks like you're lost... The page you are looking for no longer exists.

According to the bio, Funk finished his career as Heelan???‚¬?„?s all-time leading scorer with 1,239 points.

Another Heelan connection-- Bradley's women's team has a verbal committment from Michelle Lund, currently a junior at Heelan, who has already scored well over a thousand points for her career, and will easily surpass Funk when she is finished.

Thanks for the correction, Da Coach. Maybe it just seems like 6 years

Why is that name familiar (Lund)? Is she a legacy or did she have a parent that worked(s) at BU?

I have never heard that she has any prior connection to Bradley.
