Nahhh... I think we are at a point now where SIU and Creighton need to win. The MVC is not going to get ANY respect if the top teams keep getting beat (especially if in this case, both at home).

ISU played a pretty decent game, stat wise they shot better from the field and 3pt range then SIU, but SIU made a few more of each

Marico Stinson's chances of getting the freshman of the year award took a hit today. He did not start, and had zero points in this game. Indiana State's other freshman Cole Holmstrom had just 6 points, no 3-point baskets, and no assists.

Gabe Moore, who had been in the top 10 in scoring in the MVC all year, also had zero points on 0-11 shooting. Creighton didn't get much from their bench (2-13 shooting), but who needs a bench when you have Nate Funk. He had 20 points and 7 rebounds.
Attendance was 17,283, the second largest in history.

Box score Creighton 71 Indiana State 55--

ISU shot pretty well, 22-41, but they had 24 turnovers. Dyer and Eldridge were both 4-5 from 3-point and ISU outrebounded SIU, but they couldn't stop SIU's Tatum (22 points), Falker (19 points), and Young (16 points).

                          Attendance: 8608
