  • BU Woman lose

63-50 to IndySt. The beat goes on and on and on with that program.

My hope is that BU decides because they are moving into the new arena sometime in the next few years it is time to become serious about this program and let Paula go. She is not a coach that will ever take this program to a winning consistant level.

She has perhaps her most athletic and skilled recruits coming in next year, and a big time scorer for 2008 committed. I say give her another year to see what she does with the better talent. I agree she has not had the best success recruiting (other than Minnesota kids).

The game against ISU is on WTVP on SUnday at 2:05....
???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???

And where did they go? Did they just quit? Both Ostergaard and Magnuson were turning into good players ...

The amount of off-the-court issues with the women's team has been disturbing. I know we can't elaborate specifically on here, but just as a general comment, it's very odd that many players have gotten suspended or left/been kicked off the team in the past few years.
            Go Braves!

I have to say I havent been to a womans game in a few years but she was the head coach when I was living in Peoria and she was not a good coach. She did not make very good in game adjustments but maybe she has gotten better.

The whole bringing in recruits is great, if she can develop them, they dont leave or are not a good as they are advertised. She has done a very poor job of recruiting locally, that was a requirement for the mens coach and she basically has not even come close to winning a conference title or tourney since she has been the head coach for the past 7 years. After 7 seasons at the head of any organization I would expect significant increases in success not what she has presented an overall record of 79-107, that is way to below what should be acheived after 7 season and a cycle of atleast 2/3 years of souly her own recruits.

Give her time? How much time does someone deserve who is 28 short of .500 in her tenure as the head coach?

Bradley just shot terrible in the first half. I think they were 0-13 from 3-point range in the half. Devyn had 10 rebounds at half, but hadn't scored.

They made a decent push in the second half, getting a double-digit deficit down to 5 points, before an 8-0 run sealed the victory for the Sycs.

Defensively, BU was very good. Indiana State was the 3rd highest scoring women's team in the country, and Bradley held them to their second lowest total of the season.

If they'd shot a decent percent, BU could've had them on the ropes.

This team seems to win on the road... I've been to women's games three times this season. I don't understand her subsitutions, but having seen only three games, and not being exactly a basketball guru anyway--- what do I know?
