  • Postgame- BU 88 ISU 67

BU totally dominated from the opening tip. That was the best game I have seen at Carver Arena in many years. This team keeps getting better.

Wow.....what a game.......the Braves looked like the better team tonight.....and at home that is what we expect! What a crowd...all-time Bu record and we should have the new all-time 3 pt record now with what I counted as 10?

Porter should give me a scholarship. I hit more 3's then his starters.

What a win though, and an amazing crowd!

Haha. That's just the capper on a great night. We really came out and took it to ISU. They had no answer for us anywhere. I feel bad for Porter he seems like a decent guy and if he keeps getting it handed to him by BU he's not gonna keep his job for much longer.

How about Daniel Ruffin's line-- only 9 shots, but had 16 points, 10 assists, 1 turnover, and 1 steal.
Will came up big again, 22 points, 4 assists, 4 rebounds, 2 steals, 6-11 from 3, and ZERO turnovers!
Tauai- 12 points, 3 assists, 6 rebounds, and only 1 turnover.
Zach- 8-10 from the floor, 3-3 FTs, 19 points, and he didn't force any shots.
Matt had a team-leading 7 rebounds, and played excellent defense (as did everyone).

What more can be said? Games like that are priceless! What a blast!

                Even BUBraves06 was dropping 3-pointers!

I'll take that ref crew over any other in the Valley. They let them play most of the time.

The technical foul on Jim was ridiculous. I don't know what was said, but he was not trying to show up the refs, he was just questioning what IMO was an obvious blown over-and-back call.
These refs need to realize they are there to officiate the game and not to be mind police to coaches.

I happen to have been watching a couple minutes before and it looked like he was warned. I also think he was way out of the box and that may have been part of it. Maybe he wanted one to get the team's attention? They were playing pretty flat at that point and ISU was making a little run. I still think it was a fairly well called game especially if you compare it to some of the games when the whistle is blowing every time down the floor.

PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley rewarded a school-record, standing room only crowd of 11,444 by routing Interstate 74 rival Illinois State, 88-67, Wednesday night at Carver Arena. Junior point guard Daniel Ruffin (Peoria, Ill./Central H.S.) turned in his second career double-double with 16 points and 10 assists, leading the Braves (15-7, 6-4) to their fourth consecutive win against Illinois State (11-10, 3-7) and their seventh win in the last 10 games against the rival Redbirds. All five Bradley starters scored in double-figures and four of the five had reached the mark by halftime. Senior guard Will Franklin (Houston, Texas/Alief Hastings H.S.) finished with a game-high 22 points, senior center Zach Andrews (Rancho Cordova, Calif./Cordova H.S.) added 19 points, senior guard J.J. Tauai (Verona, Mo./Verona H.S.) chipped in with 12 and junior forward Matt Salley (Charlotte, N.C./North Mecklenberg H.S.) completed the

                          Great crowd, especially the students.

All around balance. I THINK 5 were in double figures. I also THINK that JL's T was calculated. We had a big lead and wanted the refs to know what he was thinking. I assume it was a reference to ISU passing the ball out of bounds into the back court. JL probably said something to the effect 1 out of 2 ain't bad. Just guessing. Sam set one heck of a screen.
