Long time Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim's son, Buddy Boeheim, is a freshman playing for his dad at Syracuse this season.
In their first 2 home games this season, Syracuse wore their home white uniforms, but tonight they are playing former Big East rival UConn in the 2K Empire Classic in Madison Square Garden, and they are wearing their visiting orange uniforms for the first time.
In a slightly embarrassing wardrobe malfunction, Buddy Boeheim's new uniform has his name spelled incorrectly (Boheim instead of Boeheim). You'd think they would get the name Boeheim right. This is Jim Boeheim's 50th season as a coach at Syracuse (7 seasons as an assistant and 43 seasons as head coach).
