Did anyone else watch the game on WTVP Saturday?
There was one priceless moment when Zach dunked and Chad Kleine said "KABOOM", and Kurt Pegler responded with "oh don't say that".
It was almost as if Kurt was cautioning Chad for saying something too sacred to mention.

Kurt Pegler and Chad Kleine are great guys. Kurt is friends with Dave Snell (they worked together for years at WMBD). I think Kurt's reaction was simply out of respect for a "trademark" term used by Dave.

What are you guys' thoughts on Chad Klein's color commentary? I was at both the Drake game away and the recent home game against Wichita St. so I did not listen to him live, but did tape the Wichita St game and watched it later. I don't know, I thought he did a good job, and could be better with a little more games under his belt. I thought his insight into the game was pretty good.

I caught the BU @ DU game on WTVP. Aside from the problems with the video feed I was very impressed. Thought Chad and Kurt did a great job.

Was it just me or was the picture quality (when it was coming through) way better than WEEK's??? I really appreciated the more professional looking score bar at the top of the screen, wish we woulda had a game clock though.

How was the WSU game over the tube?

Yes, I did notice that the picture quality and in-game graphics were better than WEEK's. I also thought that the music and video montage lead into the game coming back from commercials was also better. I wouldn't mind seeing WTVP do more games in the future.

Chad does a very good job, with his enthusiasm and insight into the game, having played for BU. The only thing I occasionally hear him struggle with is saying "we", but that is to be expected!

Braveman read my mind. That was the biggest problem I had when watching the Drake game. Not sure if it continued for the Wichita game.

I can understand if you follow and cover the team all season like Dave Snell and Coach Stowell, but it really got on my nerves the other week.
