This will probably cause a lot of anguish for MVC fans...

    Halftime score from Wichita...
    LOUISIANA TECH 39 - Wichita State 29
...Wichita's starting five has only 8 points total...

and incidentally, a halftime score from Natchitoches, Louisiana...
Northwestern State 55 - Centenary 39 with ten different Northwestern State players have scored but Chudier Bile has not played in the 1st half

It wouldn't be too big upset but Kentucky was mentioned on this site earlier today. However, the current score is Duke 34 Kentucky 18. However, Duke is having a little foul problems. Kentucky has scored the last 6 points.

        Wichita goes down hard -
I suspect this was a guarantee game that they bought and end up getting beat on their home court
        Louisiana Tech 71 - Wichita 59

Creighton comes away with a close win onver WIU 78-67

and someone did predict Kentucky might lose
currently Duke up by 19 and Zion hasn't played much at all...

Kentucky got blasted by 34 points - Calipari's worst defeat ever at UK
..their worst margin of defeat in over a decade and the most points they've allowed in almost 30 years.

a lot of blowouts everywhere else and not a whole lot of surprises...
but Bradley recruit David Sloan at John A. Logan juco got 19 pts & 14 rebounds tonight

and one other kid we've talked about...
Ari Boya's teammate last year Koreem Ozier - in his first college game ever scored 23 points -

This quote from just one year ago comes to mind:

???Can we mix in a game against (Bradley)???? Marshall quips of a Missouri Valley team it beat by an average of 25 points in three games last season.

C'mon over, Gregg. Any time. It'd be fun.

There was one interesting near-upset last night.
Stephen F. Austin of the Southland Conference was 28-7 last season, they won the conference tournament championship and played in the NCAA Tournament, and they rarely lose at home. Plus, they were picked to win the Southland this season in the conference preseason poll.

But, last night, they barely escaped upset to Southwestern Assemblies of God University. SAGU is a small private Christian university in Waxahachie, Texas, and a member of the NAIA. A free throw with 2.1 seconds left gave SFA the 68-67 win-
Box score for the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks vs. Southwestern Assemblies of God Lions NCAAM game from November 8, 2018 on ESPN. Includes all points, rebounds and steals stats.
