  • Worst exhibition matchup of the season

the prize goes to Washington State ...

they scheduled an exhibition against New Hope Christian College...

they are tiny private college (Christian Bible and Pastoral school) from Eugene Oregon who are neither NCAA nor NAIA and who play at a level a couple notches below DIII (NCCAA)

Anyway, Washington State won 138-63 with the subs playing well over 1/2 the game
of interest - Ex-Brave Davante Cooper played only 7 minutes - by far the least of any scholarship player, and he scored 2 pts.

Worst exhibition matchup of the season...
This could be challenged by Valparaiso tomorrow night. After losing their first exhibition game last Thursday night to University of Indianapolis, they play a second exhibtion game against Concordia University Chicago (a small Lutheran college actually located in River Forest, Ilinois). Concordia University Chicago is a Division III school, but they are possibly among the worst couple D3 schools in the country. They were 2-23 last year, and their tallest player is a skinny 6'5" freshman.
