Paul Herzog will miss the game tonight. I don't think he has missed a game for many years. He is in Florida, and unable to return to Peoria for the game. He had planned to be back in time for the game.
Joe Dalfonso will handle PA duties for tonight's game.

Bradley dominates, and leads wire to wire.
Nice games by Koch Bar, Nate Kennell, and Ja'Shon Henry.

Bradley shot pretty well, but played a smaller lineup much of the game, and barely outrebounded Carroll 37-34, who is not very athletic.

I listened to the game at my dads house since he had ankle surgery and is still unable to put weight on his leg. It sounded like Henry will be an immediate contributor. However, I know Carroll is not very big and I wonder if they weren??™t very athletic either. Was this a case were Henry was able to out-athlete his opponents and he might struggle against bigger, faster opponents? Brown didn??™t sound like he played well.

I would appreciate as many first hand reports as posters can provide. This is the best place for quality information on the team so I??™d love to read honest appraisal.

I'd have to say everyone played well...

-good defense - Carroll had trouble getting shots up

-Kennell shot well, hope that continues all season

-Koch Bar has a little more confidence on the offensive end

-we still do the sloppy little lob passes way too much and the stats crew repeatedly gave those turnovers to the guy who was on the receiving end instead of the guy who threw the terrible pass.
That's why Childs & Bar were credited with so many turnovers but I think those should have been the guy making the bad pass.

-Childs & Bar are tough in the paint - Carroll had just 6 pts in the paint (all in 1st half) !! they just couldn't get a shot inside

overall a very good performance by the Braves- a far cry from losing an exhibition to a II like we did a few years ago...
a lot of empty lower bowl seats (4,300 attendance) - maybe people are waiting for the regular season games

BP says the 50 point margin is the biggest margin in Bradley's history in an exhibition victory

                          Hilights were:
                          Winning by 50.
                          Newly upgraded my seats.
Jashon Henry has a nose for ball.
                          Nate Kennel
Student section was waaay above average size
New braves club section on floor.
                          Upgraded court lighting.

I was only disappointed by how dang small the crowd was. I understand having conflicts, but how do you stay away from watching this team if you are able. We have been waiting for this!

                              Buesch...
the Braves Club area on the north end of the arena was busy and active all night long even with the relatively small crowd...

I think the novelty of it might wear off over time but I expect when we start having big crowds - the area will be packed
A few fans who wanted to sit with their friends and drink adult beverages - spent pretty much the entire game cheering from there!
If that catches on they will have to expand it and add more seating......kinda like B-Dubs but with LIVE sports action instead of TV's

I didn??™t really feel part of the show, nor do I want to be. I did enjoy being able to stay in the arena for halftime entertainment... and there was no line for the refreshments. I think it??™s going to be pretty crowded down there though.
