pfcmsh- I missed you at the Itoo but I also noted the absence of a few others....
there is no doubt our program is in the right hands & moving in the right direction
t....While I don't always agree with you I do agree most of the time on most of your posts. Your views and comments as well as your knowledge of college basketball is teriffic and I always look forward to reading your posts which are accurate and very well thought out.
Please do not be discouraged by the very few hardheads who are critical of your posts . Keep up the great work on behalf of Bradley. Also, I always look forward to seeing you and talking at BU events. You are one of the reasons this is a great message board.

I agree with T most of the time also but I’m a “hardhead” You say you don’t always agree with T, so that must make you a “hardhead” also.
I really didn't want to get into this again, but I think this might be what tornado is referring to.
There was a time a few years ago when we had a some people who declared they were the only true fans, demanded coaches be fired, and blamed and harassed other fans who didn't agree with them or who supported their school for whatever they thought was wrong. They were egged on by local sportswriters who had a personal dislike for and bias against the coach. We even had disgruntled ex-members of this forum, who after they were banned, tried to sabotage this site, and others who kept returning many times under new screen names to attack other members and disrupt the discussions. We have documentation of all of this if anyone is skeptical.
Unfortunately we did have people in charge of Bradley back then who used that sentiment from a small minority of fans and from our local press as an excuse to make changes that caused massive damage to Bradley basketball and the the other athletic programs.
Some of us saw the truth, and forewarned of the dangers of making those changes, but those misguided fans mocked us, and continued to blame us.
In the end, more damage was done at Bradley in a shorter period of time than has ever been done to a basketball program, IMO, other than cases involving NCAA violations.
In the end, it was a few brave members of the Bradley Board of Directors and the good fans here on BradleyFans.com that helped bring about the needed corrective changes in 2014 and 2015. I have had multiple Bradley Board of Directors members contact me personally and thank me for the part our board and the sentiments of our fans played in setting Bradley back on the right course. Finally, fans can once again be proud of Bradley and the athletic programs.
Chico- there have been comments elsewhere threatening things toward me and certain others on this board and there have been comments to "take me out" or "clothesline" me at a game in order for certain posters to get what they feel is their revenge. And one clown actually took photos secretly of me & family at Bradley games, then tweeted out those photos publicly in a harassing manner.... Go figure...The feebleness of these guys' babyish efforts literally makes one laugh. Like a bunch of middle school girls trying to torpedo a perceived rival's chances of being the cheerleading captain.
But even more evidence of insanity and immaturity -- I have also gotten anonymous hate mail and had my home vandalized twice by people who left anonymous notes claiming it was because of my opinions on the message board.
The way I see it, people who have such a small mindset obviously have already shown themselves to be such fools & punished themselves far more than they think they are getting anyone else.

And don't forget the destruction inflicted on enrollment, academics, teacher morale, the budget, the endowment, etc... Thank God for you guys and Bradleyfans!!!

Thanks for the info. I still contend that the ones who wanted Wayne McClain hired, instead of Jim Les, caused most of these problems. Can’t believe they took it so seriously that they would take it out personally on someone like you who disagreed with them.
I would have been behind him, but I was also behind Jim Les and it??™s too bad some so called fans can??™t say the same thing.
I was not a fan of McClain and believe he'd have been a bad hire. Of course I'd have supported him, but I'm glad Les was chosen. Jim really turned out to be a "Sweet" hire.
