his lawyers have gotten a delay- Oct 16 is next court date-
would it be surprising if they continued to request delays as they did with multiple other players...

-Deontae Hawkins got a DUI in October 2016, just as the season was starting but they got delay after delay
and never had to go to court until end of April, 2017 the following year

-Yarbrough last September 2017 was caught driving with his license suspended, then they got multiple delays
and he never had to go to court until May 2018 after the season was over

-Quinton Brewer got a DUI in August of his senior year at ISU but they got delay after delay and the charges even got
upgraded to to FELONY DUI when he got another DUI and yet he never had to go to trial or sentencing until after his senior year was over the following spring
..and he, like all the rest, never got suspended for even one game or practice and the Pantagraph never mentioned any of it - not even the felony part
or the part that he, like plenty of other ISU criminals, then left town and have never appeared for their court dates.
Tony Wills' DUI never got a mention in their press.
Javaka Thompson's DUI never got a mention.
Devaughn Akoon-Purcell's FELONY domestic assault CONVICTION never got a mention.

Continuances are pretty common though. If a lawyer is hired on the eve of a court date, most judges will continue the matter so he/she has more time to prepare.

The bigger question for me is, where is he getting the money for all these private lawyers? Every time he goes to court he seems to have a private lawyer. That ain't cheap. Is an ISU donor paying for this? The NCAA should investigate.

Still evaluating = still trying to find a way out of this dilemma and still be able to play him

From #MVCTipOff coach @DanMuller tells me @Redbird_MBB has to wait for all the details to come to light before they know how to deal with the latest Milik Yarbrough situation.

In other words, it's exactly as we predicted. No matter how many times this guy is in legal trouble, no matter how many laws he breaks, no matter how many times he f**ks up despite being given, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and infinite chances, Dan Muller has no integrity and no balls, and is always going to give the same old lame excuses and try to find a way to avoid discipline so he can get his thugs back on the court-
"we'll wait for the legal process to play out"
"we'll wait for all the details to come to light"
"they are still getting the facts"
"we are aware of the situation and are handling it internally"
"we'll deal with it after the season"

Hard to believe this article was 2 years ago-
TOLENTINO: Muller needs to take action on recent arrests
Muller on three player arrests: 'We are aware of the situation and are handling it internally.'

...and to date, this Vidette (ISU student newspaper) is the only media person to demand accountability and discipline from Muller. Unfortunately, his demand fell on deaf ears. It really speaks volumes for the pathetic coaching staff, athletic director, and university president, not to mention the sycophantic, and apologist Pantagraph.

What a joke ISU basketball is.

but Tolentino isn't at the Vidette any more and the people there won't say anything
..the situation at ISU is kinda like the situation at Baylor when Dave Bliss was there or the situation at IU when Kelvin Sampson was there..
the only thing the admin or fans cared about was the wins.......

Lack of integrity = fatal flaw. Keep Yarbrough and give him another chance!

Comparing this to a situation where someone was murdered is hilarious!

it was a little hyperbole but then you guys have dealt with more drug & alcohol issues, DUIs, rapes, robberies and assaults than the rest of the MVC combined...
..is that your standard now - is it gonna take a murder before someone takes the crime issue there seriously?
Muller has actually recruited and signed kids who were in the middle of their felony trials in other states and who played while serving their sentences for
violent felony convictions and felony sexual assault against children (and they were simply "indefinitely suspended" but remained on the team)
and multiple felony DUIs, beating up girlfriends even doing so multiple times, but never missing a single minute of a game or a start, and your media has often chosen not to report it.

the ISU fans have said endlessly that we (Bradley fans) are the only ones who hype up and talk about the legal issues down at ISU...

but obviously we now have undeniable proof that is a lie - as their own beat reporter Jim Benson detailed how that was just about all anyone wanted to talk about yesterday at the MVC Media day...
it was the single topic that dominated conversation and even Muller hinted that he's kinda tired of talking about it but somewhat reluctantly did talk about it because he was hoping if he answers questions now that the media will leave him alone once the season starts.

In the end he really didn't answer any questions and said only that they are "still gathering facts" and will deal with it internally, but that he's hopeful (even sounded expectant) that Yarbrough will be there for practice next week.

It gets a little old that their guys are in the news for arrests and instead of blaming their guys & their staff - the ISU fans turn on Bradley fans and blame us for the renegade reputation they have locked in on.

**as I have said before. it could happen here some day - kids are kids - and so Bradley could have serious problems, but ...
-it never has happened, Bradley has only had relatively minor stuff, pretty much all of which was wiped clean after supervision
-nothing of any kind - not even jaywalking has happened in the Wardle era
-and if it ever did happen, I would be the first to say I want SOLID discipline then dismissal if it becomes a repeat issue as many, many ISU guys have long lists of arrests for serious matters combined with flagrant disregard for the system by flaunting their court dates).

but it might affect the point spread on a couple of our games...
