  • A GREAT TRIP!!

What a great trip for this team and coaches!! It is obvious that they bonded well, enjoyed London and Amsterdam, and played well and won two games.

This trip has really set up our team for a teriffic season and now we get ready for Cancun. Much improvement from a number of players. Look out MVC, it looks like Bradley is back!

Boya gave us a glimpse of what he can do in the Valley. BU has not had a presence in the middle since POB and he did not have Ari's bulk. Before that Massive Mike Williams was the last true "big man" to occupy the middle. If Ari can produce significant offense in the middle while picking up double digit rebounds and 5 or more blocks per game, we will have taken a giant step toward the top in the Valley.

I think the major task facing the coaching staff is how to give everyone on the team adequate playing time. Such a nice problem to have.

I'd throw a mature Bayo in there as one of the best Valley big men in the past 20+ years

I have seen SIU's Thik Bol (6-8, 202 lb, 9ppg, 7rpg, 2 blk) and Bol is a real presence in the middle when healthy...
but I would say Ari right now is like a Thik Bol except at least five inches taller and a wingspan of almost 8 feet.

I agree that Bayo grew into a presence in the middle by the time he was an upperclassman. Ari appears to have the potential to be that presence BEFORE he becomes an upperclassman. If so, we are in for a real treat.

What can Bradley fans do to get people to buy tickets and come back to the games? I know that winning brings the fans back, but I would like to see 8,000 at the early games PLUS a full student section. Let's give tickets to the students to the early games to get them to come back.

Give them nothing. Put it on TV against isu and they show up so they can be seen. Should be there every game rooting for their team. Civic Center not that much farther to go than Farmington Road and they don’t mind going down there. Kudos to the students who do show up for every game. They seem to have a good time.
What part of illegal don't you understand?

The students are starting to come back. The last few home games last season they were placing groups of students in the upper bowl since the student section was filled. They need to get rid of the Hyvee Red Zone and make it part of the student section again if we keep winning. I get that it had its purpose to make the student section not look as empty, but the students need to be as close to the floor as possible and together.
