The Bradley team arrived safely in Amsterdam, and is settled into their hotel. They will be doing some tours of the city today.

The Canal Boat rides are fantastic!! Amsterdam is an old city and some of the buildings still reflect that. Anne Franks house I believe is still there and open for tourists

There is a bar there that my Army buddies and I got into a friendly argument with some British soldiers on which athletes were the better athletes: their Soccer players or Johnny Unitas

a little more on the team that Bradley will play tomorrow

They call themselves Amsterdam Select but they are basically the professional team Apollo Amsterdam of the top pro league (DBL) in Holland- and they also play Bucknell Saturday in what will be the first game of four that Bucknell plays in Amsterdam, Belgium & France.
** BUCKNELL is coming off a great 25-win season where they swept thru their tourney & went to the NCAA then nearly knocked off Michigan State! They have won FOUR STRAIGHT titles in the Patriot League.
It will be interesting to see how they play against the same team Bradley faces.

Their usual venue is Apollohal (seen in that picture with the stands removed), but this game will be played in the smaller Sporthallen Zuid and the locals are not charging any admission, so hopefully they can draw a big crowd.

Current roster - altho there may be some additions and some players missing, as their season hasn't started yet-

Their top scorers from last year were Dimeo Van Der Horst (14.0 ppg), Max Von Schalk (11.5 ppg), Aaron Roye (11.3 ppg), Berend Weijs (10.9 ppg)
Van Der Horst & Roye both averaged 5 asst per game or more, Van Schalk (7.3 rpg) and Weijs (6.2 rpg) were their best rebounders.

The majority of these European pro teams sign players to one-year contracts, and we are currently in the middle of their off-season. So the Amsterdam pro team BU plays tomorrow probably won't have all those players from last year's team under contract yet for their 2018-19 season. That was the case with the Surrey Scorchers team that Bradley played Tuesday. So in order to put a team together to play these kind of summer exhibitions against touring US college teams, they might sign a couple of their own players, plus pros from other teams to short-term contracts just to get enough players. Many of the players Bradley played against Tuesday will not be part of their 2018-19 Surrey team once their pro season starts in the fall, and that might be the same with the team BU plays tomorrow in Amsterdam. As of now, we do not know the roster for Friday's game, though it could include some of those Apollo Amsterdam players.
Nonetheless, the players are talented, are in excellent shape, and many have years of professional experience. So it is a good sign that Bradley handled that team in Surrey.

pjs has a little coverage of Bradley's exhibition tour..

it's behind their paywall so I will give you a couple clips...nothing new - and just a couple quotes from before they left

                  "Braves are bonding over there""
"The main focus of the trip is team bonding,” said BU guard Nate Kennell prior to the team's departure"
"the Braves didn’t shoot well from the field (official stats weren’t kept).."
"..freshmen Ari Boya, Armon Brummett and Ja’Shon Henry all made positive contributions in reserve roles Wednesday."

Originally it was reported that the game would be at 2 PM Central time, but apparently that is incorrect. It is now reported that it will be 1 PM, so we must have miscalculated the time difference.

So note that the game starts at 1 PM Central time-

We still are not aware of any available audio or video stream that will be available, but sometimes one might become known right before game time. So check back at 1:00 PM.

We're unable to find any audio or video streaming available for the game. If anyone finds anything, let us know. We'll keep looking, but it seems likely fans back home will not be able to follow the game live.

Hopefully, Bradley Basketball on twitter will keep tweeting updates-

As we expected, there is no available audio or video of today's game.

But I do have a couple acquaintances who are at the game. If we are lucky, I might get some updates from them, and if I do, I'll post them.
