All transfer have baggage, but given where UE was under Marty, this is a very good get and a chance worth taking. His former coaches speak highly of him and definitely a higher ceiling than what Marty had been targeting. Time will tell, but I like it.

Evansville will be his 3rd school so far in his 2 year college career. He went to Arizona State, but only spent 1 semester there. Then he transferred to Kansas. After sitting out 2 full semesters, he only played 1 semester at Kansas, then decided to transfer again. He will have to sit out another full season, and will be eligible in the fall of 2019. Because of his multiple transfers, he will lose a full year of eligibility, and have 2 years left if he stays.

It is interesting that when left Arizona State, he claimed it was because he needed to "return home for personal and family reasons", yet Kansas is much farther away. Then when he left Kansas, he said he wanted to play back home in Washington, yet Evansville is about 500 miles farther away from his home in Seattle than was Lawrence, Kansas.

I have my suspicions of Yesufu being 6-ft...some sites actually say 5-8 and his own coach lists him as 5-10 - maybe he's still growing...
