Beats me. Probably wanted to tap into some goodwill on the cheap. His logo is just different enough, and he cleverly uses the word "Brave" as an adjective instead of a noun to skirt any IP issues. Another lawyer who advertises his connection to Bradley is Doc Halliday, but he's a season ticket holder, Braves Club member and travels to away games. (And happens to be an ISU grad BTW.)

The Bradley Bookstore allows purchases via PayPal...
        very convenient...
I just used my checkout discount code on another item I just bought & saved 25% (worked out to almost $15 savings)

Under Armour is the hottest stock on the stock exchanges
...shares surged up 25% in just the first 3-4 hours of trading today and sustained their gains!!!

Under Armour says sales overseas rose 15 percent during the third quarter to $351 million and now represent 24 percent of total sales.

...last spring (mid-April) adidas (Bradley's former athletic apparel sponsor) was at 132.20 while Under Armour was at 16.10
but now adidas is down to 115.23 (off almost 13%) while UA (currently at 23.28 ) is up over 45%
(Nike stock over that same interval is up about 13%)

            Logo news at UNLV
barely more than a year after introducing a NEW LOGO and all new apparel - now UNLV is abandoning the new logo and going back to just the letters UNLV in an arch...
Fans largely found the new logo ugly and undesirable -
to me, the simple B that came with the JG/MC era is ugly but also still unpleasantly reminiscent of that era that everyone would like to forget...we need a change, too
Eighteen months after a new, refreshed “Hey Reb” logo was met with almost universal scorn, UNLV is going back to basics. The athletic department took to Twitter on Monday to announce that the new logo will no longer be used ...

UNLV unveiled its new logo Wednesday, a new take on the Hey Reb! mountain man with a nod to Las Vegas. The response on social media was not kind.

I would certainly favor a new logo for the University, but I especially would like to see a new logo for the sports teams. We need something more unique, distinctive, and appealing. The bold capital B in a shield logo is too similar to some other schools, and I doubt anyone outside of Bradley fans would recognize it as being the Bradley Braves logo.

It is also the same logo used by the University itself. Virtually all college sports programs have their own distinctive logo that is not the same as the university logo.
And it was said that the Bradley athletic program logo would evolve to take on a more distinctive appearance, especially once the athletic department decided on a mascot. Well, that came and went but we haven't seen any changes in the logo.

Below are the official logos for every MVC University (taken from their main website) alongside their athletics logo (taken from the athletics webpage).
Note that Bradley is the only school in the MVC that does not have a unique and distinctive logo for their sports teams. In every case, they are vastly different. I cannot find another college team that doesn't have a unique athletics logo.
