That's what I get for taking a lunch break!
Thanks to lightsout for posting.
Chudier Bile, if there is anyone who doesn't know, visited Bradley this past weekend and was offered a scholarship by Bradley.
He is a 6'7" sophomore at Otero Junior College in La Junta, Colorado. He is originally from Denver South High School.
He averaged 12.4 ppg and 5.9 rpg, and shot 54.9% (139-253) overall and 35.8% (29-81) from three this past season. He shot 75.0% (78-104) on free throws.
He is also a very good shot blocker. He averaged 1.5 blocked shots per game. By comparison, this past season, Elijah Childs lead Bradley with 1.4 bpg, and only 2 players in the MVC exceeded that.
Otero JC won the Region IX NJCAA Tournament and advanced to the NJCAA National Tournament. Chudier Bile was named to the 2018 Region IX All-Tournament team.
They were eliminated in the first round at the national tournament, and ended their season with a 29-5 record.

According to Dave Reynolds, Chudier Bile was born in Ethiopia and moved to Denver with his family when he was 2 years old.
Coach Wardle quote from the Bradley release-
The Bradley men's basketball program announced the addition to the 2018-19 roster with the signing of Chudier Bile (Denver, Colo.) to a National Letter of Intent on Tuesday.
“Chudi will be a great addition to our Bradley family,” said BU coach Brian Wardle in a statement. “He will fit right into our culture and fills a need on the floor. His skill set, athleticism and versatility at the forward position will bring great value to us. He is also a very efficient player and is a proven winner, and we’re excited to coach him for the next two years. I love that Chudi continues to improve and played his best basketball down the stretch for a very good team. His best years are ahead of him.”
Bradleyfans.com was the first to have information about Chudier Bile 3?? weeks ago, and that he was being recruited by Bradley-

The videos of him reminded me of Theron Wilson & Chris Roberts - given that highlight reels can, of course be deceptive...
but if our coaches like him then I can't wait to see him play on our foreign tour this summer!!
from Feb 1 on - his averages were 15 ppg/7 rpg- getting as many as 7 blocks in a game...and shooting 59.3% from the field & 48.6% (17-35) from 3-pt!!
(just as a comparison, only 12 players in all of juco ball hit better than 48.6% from 3-pt (season numbers))

This is the type of player we need. Someone who can credibly defend at the three in big line ups or slide to the four in smaller line ups. He isn??™t the most flashy player we had been connected to, so Idk if he??™ll be a day one starter. But he is definitely a good fit and should help us continue our quest to win the conference and make an NCAA tournament.Gotta stop feeding the trolls.

Chudi is what Coach Wardle called him-

I think he Looks pretty impressive in the videos. He looks pretty athletic and versatile. Blocks shots and keeps the ball in play, make 3's, makes plays in the paint, can create his own shot, gets rebounds and runs the floor well. Looks more skilled than Donte was at this point in his career. If he plays like that here, he will help us move up in the Valley for sure.
Welcome to Bradley Chudier Bile!
