2020 Bradley recruit Seryee Lewis has attended 3 Chicago high schools, and is on the move again. He started at Marist HS, then transferred to Kenwood HS where he played last season, then to Morgan Park HS. Before ever playing for Morgan Park, he has now withdrawn from the school and intend to transfer to a prep school (Arizona Compass Prep).

Rashaun Agee's story is a confusing one. He is a talented big kid (6'8", 220 pounds) and he had several D1 offers out of Chicago Bogan HS.

It seems obvious this is a case of academic ineligibility, though I have not seen that reported anywhere officially. But for his scholarships to dry up, when decent big men are in high demand, then to commit to New Mexico State, which is renown for landing kids who could not have been admitted anywhere else, and now to be reported to be "red-shirting", it really only fits with the academic ineligibility issue.

As a redshirt walk-on, he will have to pay his own way this year, and the out-of-state tuition and fees, plus room, board, and expenses at NMSU are about $37,000. It defies common sense and logic to believe this kid's family can actually afford $37,000 out-of-pocket expenses just to pay his way for this year at NMSU. But NMSU has a long history of getting kids like Rashaun Agee, who couldn't get admitted anywhere else, and eventually getting them eligible.

2020 guard Donovan Williams, who Bradley has been recruiting for a few months and who was offered, just committed to University of Nebraska. He is from Lincoln, Nebraska.

tough break for former Bradley recruit Donovan Williams - last night in an AAU game he tore his left knee ACL..
He will have surgery later this month and obviously be out for at least 6 months but his entire senior high school season may be in jeopardy.
He had not yet met with new head coach Fred Hoiberg but was still holding his commitment to Nebraska.

It seems clear that this is related to a couple factors-
He was originally recruited and committed to previous coach Tim Miles, and was not a Fred Hoiberg recruit.
And Nebraska just landed commitments from 2 highly rated and high-scoring juco shooting guards-

...With these two shooting guards, and with a roster loaded with shooting guards (9 of them, 8 who will return for the 2020-21 season) Coach Fred Hoiberg likely encouraged Donovan Williams not to sign in November, and now has advised him to look elsewhere to play.

Donovan Williams committed to Nebraska in August, 2018. He did not appear in the Top 100 until April, 2019, 8 months later.

Unfortunately, the same week he was listed in the ESPN Top 100 at #95, he tore his ACL. So he is coming off reconstructive ACL surgery, and hasn't played at all since last April. He has long ago dropped out of the Top 100.

I think there is a good chance the kid ends up at a mid-major, and we know Bradley recruited him before he committed to Nebraska, and was reportedly his best offer other than UNL. He would need a school willing to take a chance on a kid with his history of a serious knee injury, and Power 6 schools usually don't recruit kids with injury histories like that. Plus, a significant portion of the Power 6 schools have already signed their targeted players in the early signing period, and there are a lot fewer scholarships available.
I know this is an optimistic viewpoint, and it isn't highly likely to happen, but as I said, he is the type of player Bradley is looking for with their last scholarship, so I hope they give it a shot.

I can now confirm that just as I speculated above, Bradley is indeed back in contact with and is recruiting Donovan Williams since he decommitted from Nebraska, and there is mutual interest.(see above posts for more info about him).

After missing the last 8 months with an ACL injury and surgery, Bradley recruit Donovan Williams of North Star HS in Lincoln, Nebraska, finally returned to playing last week. He started by putting up 31 points in his first game back.
