One more new name that Bradley has been in contact with for those keeping track.
2020 Will Berg- 6'9" skilled forward from Valley High School in West Des Moines, Iowa.
A year ago, he was ranked the #5 player in Iowa for the class of 2020.
This ranking is based on the Register's observations during the high school basketball season, as well as consultation with our recruiting contacts.
He has a couple mid-major offers, and high-majors like Iowa, and Iowa State are following him.

In the semifinal game, Hollis beat Springfield Little Flower 51-42 with Kiser scoring 30 pts - https://iesa.org/activities/bbk/scor...-1A&Position=4
That State Championship game is Thursday at 7:30pm - vs. Ashland A-C Central, who also have a kid that scored 30 pts in the semi..
The Championship is held at Macon Meridian HS (10 miles south of Decatur)
As you can see - Ethan is far more physically developed than any other 8th grader - so time will tell if he's able to compete against high schoolers to the same degree - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_UWQg0Gl2I

Bradley is still involved with a few other very good 2020 kids- point guard Nijel Pack of Indianapolis Lawrence North HS, guard Anthony Leal of Bloomington South HS (Indiana), and a kid we first started following in the summer of 2017 in high school in Kentucky, Jayden Scrubb, now a freshman at John A. Logan Community College in Southern Illinois.Last edited by tornado; 02-16-2019, 06:11 PM.

Maybe Bradley should start recruiting this kid, since we have recruiting connections in Indiana. Luke Brown is just a sophomore at Blackford HS (enrollment 550) in Hartford City, Indiana, a small town in east-central Indiana, near Muncie. Prior to his freshman season, Blackford HS had lost 61 straight games. As a freshman, he averaged 27.8 ppg and lead his team to a 14-9 record. This season, he leads the state with an average of 35.8 ppg and his team is 12-4 so far. He is on pace to break Damon Bailey's Indiana high school scoring record (3,134 points). In a recent game he scored 55 points on 21 of 25 shots. He is a 6'1" point guard, but not simply a great shooter. He dribbles and passes well, and can score on drives to the basket.
Schools and town shrinking, Blackford County doesn't have much these days - but it has phenom Luke Brown, and on basketball nights, that seems enough.

T have you heard anything about Bradley watching Washington freshman Gus Lucas? I have seen him play since 7th grade and he is a talent. I have heard baseball is his best sport, but I watched him lead a young Washington squad last night against Limestone. 6'5 forward with decent handles for a Freshman, and a great shot.

..Former ISU & Illini assistant Paris Parham's son just transferred to Minnesota State and former UNI guard Juwan McCloud is there, too as is a Delavan kid Karsen Arrenholz.
Their head coach Matt Margenthaler has strong recruiting connections in Illinois.
one other local kid that Bradley had looked at - LUKE YODER - and who had visited Bradley more than once
...just verbaled to Illinois Wesleyan (DIII) even tho he reportedly had a DI offer from EIU

Our coaches continue to actively recruit for 2021, 2020, and 2019, including high school, prep school, and juco players.
Here are a couple new names-
2020 Ray'Sean Taylor- a 6'1" point guard from Collinsville (Illinois) High School.

2019 Ahmad Louis- 6'2" guard from Oak Park High School in Kansas City, MO.
On December 30th at the William Jewell Holiday Classic, Oak Park's point guard Ahmad Louis broke the record for most points scored in a single game! He scored a total of 43 points against the Liberty Blue Jays. The record was previously held by Ochai Agbaji (Kansas University) with 40 points!
