    Willie Cox was an assistant basketball coach for Bradley Men's Basketball under Dick Versace and was on the BU staff while Hersey Hawkins & Jim Les were there...
    Bringing college, high school and AAU basketball coaching experience with him, Willie Cox enters his fourth season as Director of Recruiting, and ninth overall on


    He is now an assistant for Mizzou Women's Basketball and lead recruiter (Director of Recruiting) - for the past 7 years.

    He's also been an ISU assistant, a Loyola assistant and was head coach at Peoria central HS


    He and Mizzou Head Coach Robin Pingeton just landed a commmitment from the top player in her class....altho her Class is Class of 2022...

    Addison Potts is only an 8th grader but considered one of the top - if not the top player in her class...

    Yes, I Remember Willie!

    He was a terrific point guard with Mines, Third, Reese and JJ. He played defense with his hands on the court. Great player and point guard.

      I think you are mixing up Willie Cox with Willie Scott. It was Willie Scott who was the point guard on the 1980-81 and 1981-82 teams with Mines, Thirdkill, Reese, and Anderson. Willie Cox did graduate from Bradley in 1982, but he never played basketball for the Braves.
