FWIW, there are far worse things said about Bradley over on the ISU board, most of it fantasy and untrue. But Bradley fans wouldn't know because they don't go there to post.
But we'll try to keep it clean here. The list of offenders was simply in response to a post questioning their history. I know things can happen anywhere, but I don't think there is anything quite comparable at Bradley.

And there are more. And we are not even counting the innumerable lower level arrests and citations that have plagued the ISU program for decades. How many DUI's does it take for an ISU player to miss a game? Brandon Sampay, Quintin Brewer, and several others I can come up with (if you want more names), never missed a game after they were outed to have had DUIs!
heck- they had two guys simultaneously on their roster who had active felony cases or convictions...one of them they even recruited on the very day he was in court for his felony sentencing! *

If Yarbrough doesn't like being called a jailbird he should stay out of jail. This isn't biddy basketball. If a Bradley player landed in jail this offseason you can bet ISU would notice and use it against him. Their student section jeered Reed Timmer at the free throw line with his ex GF's name. Oregon students waved 100 Grand bars when Arizona shot free throws when the FBI report leaked last month. It's part of what makes college bball fun.

Ha, LOL - they still frequently drag out & make references to relatively minor issues that Bradley had more than a DECADE ago!!

Let's recap Tennessee Vols history in post-season vs MVC in past 20 seasons:

              #8 UT...lost to #9 ISU (1998.)
              #4 UT...lost BADLY to #12 SW Mizzou St (1999)
              #2 UT....lost to #7 Wichita State (2006)
              #3 UT....lost to #11 Loyola (2018.)

Was hoping for the missing piece yesterday to bounce the #2, 3, and 4 seeded Vols.

Some great wins by MVC teams in the tourney in past 20 seasons!
              Go VALLEY!!!

Loyola didn't knock off a pretender...
                Tennessee is a quality team...
they were picked 13th in the SEC in their preseason poll but surprised everyone.

They finished the regular season ranked #13 ahead of Kentucky and were 25-8
                They beat Kentucky twice...
They annihilated their first round opponent Wright State 73-47 and were strong favorites over Loyola...

So Loyola beat a very good team! Reminiscent of Bradley knocking off Kansas and Pitt in 2006

I don't know about you guys but I'm rooting for a Loyola vs UMBC match up in the elite eight. I want every bracket out there to be busted this year.

                    Headed to the Final Four!!

and they did it the same way again with very tight defense, and shooting efficiency..
Loyola shot 57.4% overall and 50% from 3-pt and also rebounded well

for the 4th game, they had a different hero who stepped up...
the first three wins were Ingram, Custer & Townes - and this time it was Ben Richardson...

                    Go Loyola!

Here is an interesting statistic- at least for this week, Loyola's all-time NCAA Tournament winning percentage is now higher that any other school in NCAA history!-

And a funny tweet from Loyola's Sister Jean-

I doubt if Loyola could have reached the Final Four if they had remained in the Horizon League.

Now, the question is, What conference will they be jumping to? Maybe the Big East will want to add another Catholic school.

I don't see a reason why Bradley couldn't improve enough to also reach the Final Four.
My first BU hoops game was on 12/30/1963. My dad took me to watch the Braves defeat Arizona 67-59. He helped me get Coach Orsborn's autograph before the game.

I just don't see any conference being interested in Loyola at this time, despite their enviable success. Their facilities are nowhere near up to par for the Big East, AAC, or Atlantic 10. They only draw barely over 2,000 per game, and their arena only holds a little over 4,000.
They do not play football, so that rules out just about every conference except the Big East and the A-10. and even those 2 conferences were not interested in Wichita State, which had far better athletic programs than Loyola does. So I don't see them coming after Loyola.

And one other factor- if they left the MVC, they not only would have to pay a huge exit fee, they would miss out on all the NCAA Tournament revenue they just won for the MVC, which does not start getting paid until 2019, and is then paid out over the next 6 years. Plus, whatever conference they moved to would not include them in their NCAA Tournament revenue distribution for at least a couple years. That is way too much money for a school like Loyola to afford to lose.

Another factor to remember... it took years of success and dominance from Creighton and Wichita before any discussions of conference upgrades.

ISU never gave Porter Moser a fair chance...
look what's happening to Loyola - and figure this could have been ISU over the past DECADE!!!
But it didn't happen overnite - heck, Moser had bad losing records for 4 of his first 5 years at Loyola - and probably some would have had him on the hot seat then!

ISU fired Moser after ONLY 4 years when he took over a monumental disaster left behind by Tom Richardson who left Porter with a team that went 8-21, and Richardson left behind a stable of players that nobody can remember their names - Vince Greene, Gregg Alexander, Baboucarr Bojang - need I say more...

Then four years later they fire Porter just as he fills his roster with quality players - handing over the Jankovich his entire starting lineup in 2007-08 when Porter's players comprised all five starters (Osiris, Dom, Slack, Dinma, and Keith "Poo" Richardson) and accounted for almost 50 ppg of their 65 team average!

That team went 25-10 - they beat Cincinnati, Creighton twice, Wichita twice and went 13-5 in a pretty tough MVC

They fired Porter way too soon - he would have gotten that bunch to the NCAA where Jank failed to do so...he'd have had them at the top of the MVC in the hunt for NCAA bids every year. The admin & fanbase that wanted Porter Moser fired deserve to be watching Porter Moser play in the Final Four with another team.
