Note that they list Illinois State as the 11th team on the list of "Others Seriously Considered", just a little ahead of Bradley who is listed 14th on the list! SIU is 17th.

I can't find anyone predicting that Illinois State, SIU, or any MVC team will get an NIT bid.


The NCAA Selection Show is on TBS at 5:00 PM Central Sunday- This is the first year in many years that it will not be on CBS. Note that it has moved to TBS this year because of a new TV deal between the NCAA and TBS & CBS. It will now alternate between the 2 networks. It will run for 2 hours. The first hour will reveal all 68 teams, followed by the brackets. The second hour will feature discussion and analysis.

Illinois State has now fallen even further out of the NIT bracket according to them. They are now the 13th team on the list of "Others Seriously Considered". Bradley is 16th on the list and SIU is 19th now.

Georgia was a certain NIT team, but their players voted and decided to turn down the invitation. Georgia head coach Mark Fox had already been notified he would not return as coach.

So when you say Bradley is 16th does that mean they have a decent shot or is that just nothing? I am thinking they will only go to a tournament if they get into the NIT. I wish they would take the CIT or CBI.

It means that the people doing the predicting are saying that Bradley is the 16th in line for the final spot. It means there is no chance they will get in.
