Bradley announces the departure of 2 players, junior Callum Barker and freshman Ryan Stipanovich.

    Just saw that....that's tough..........
Callum didn't play much and it appeared both he and his family were unhappy...
Stipanovich is a real puzzle to me, as I think he'd have gotten all the playing time he wanted next year.
I would love to hear more...

Callum Barker is not a surprise. A lot of us knew that was coming.
I am bit surprised to hear Ryan Stipanovich is leaving. I know he might have liked to play more than he did, but I think he did get a decent amount of playing time for a freshman on a team with a good amount of depth.
I wish Callum and Ryan a lot of success wherever they land.

I think we are close to hearing about one or two new recruits.

I think it boiled down to fitting into a system...and I think Stipanovich may have felt the situation wasn't right for him...

I am very surprised to see Ryan want out. And while Cal was a predictable departure I don??™t like seeing him go. I appreciate what he did for a team that was fully in the crapper. DC do you have any idea if he has enough credits to graduate early? Iirc he is a very good student.

with all the time they spend on campus in summer sessions, I'd have to think Callum could transfer as a grad transfer before the end of summer..

Anyway - by April, the rules may change to allow students with top grades to transfer without penalty
The NCAA is considering allowing athletes who are doing well in the classroom to transfer with immediate eligibility and permitting incoming freshmen to back out of a national letter of intent if t…

No, I do not know about his status. My, guess is he'll head to D2, but we should hear soon.

and altho this doesn't preclude playing more games, it kinda hints maybe we are not...else why would someone leave when there are still games to play?

Clears up the issue of having space for a potential Jordan Brangers commitment (fingers crossed). And if Ari Boya gets his grades in order to reclassify for next year there??™s room for those two plus a guy to maybe fill Donte??™s vacates shoes.

Dream class would have Brangers, Boya, and Mohamed Thiam joining Brummett. Maybe Armon or Ari redshirts and we??™re set to contend for a 1 seed in St. Louis for the next few years.

That is a very good point. If we had played Donte could have gotten to 1000 points, but I??™m okay with building hype for next year instead.

Really sad to see Stipo leave. Maybe our best 3 point shooter and got more PT as the year went on. I do wish him the best wherever he decides to go but really surprised.

I understand Callum was not going to get any real minutes but he joined us at our lowest point and will always appreciate that.

I am extremely disappointed we are losing Stipo. I had extremely high hopes for him in a BU uniform. That one couldn't have been our program's preference.

Season definitely looks over now. Excited for next year.

I was able to find out some additional inside info about today's happenings. The story is a little different than what most fans, including me thought.

I really liked Stipo and am disappointed he??™s leaving. I thought he??™d be someone who??™d step up and really help us next season, possibly taking some of Donte??™s minutes. Callun leaving isn??™t a shock. I know a lot of people wanted to see him go since he wasn??™t playing a lot, but I never like seeing players leave, but it is what it is. Hoping this is all our departing playing.

I think Stipo thought he deserved more playing time. I know I would have liked to see him play more. Good size and good shooter.
