Wright State just won their conference (Horizon) and get the automatic NCAA bid
they won handily over Cleveland State - and their head coach Scott Nagy was reported to have been a candidate for the BU spot back in 2011 and has been passed over a lot - but seem to win like crazy everywhere he goes...he has now won 19 games or more 8 straight years (South Dakota State & Wright State)
    ...and now four NCAA appearances

could he be an option for Missouri State?

Cleveland State made it to the championship game in the Horizon League Tournament despite being the #8 seed, and having to first play in a play-in game between them and #9 seed Youngstown State, then upsetting the #1 seeded regular season champion Northern Kentucky, then beating Oakland in the semifinal round yesterday and playing Wright State tonight.
First year head coach Dennis Felton, despite a poor record in the regular season (10-22, 6-12) and despite his 6 years as head coach at Georgia being mostly a dismal failure, is now suddenly getting mentioned as a possibility for some of the current job openings at higher-level schools.

here's one of the "top college basketball gurus"
      saying
"St. John's season is over and it was a missed opportunity.
Red Storm could have been on bubble if they won three or four more games."
      **

      Whoa....St. John's was 16-17 and 4-15 vs. their own conference-mates.
I admit they had a couple great upset wins, but they were LAST PLACE in the Big East, even behind Georgetown with a 2-10 record against Top 50 teams.
So the guy is saying if they'd have maybe gone 7-12 instead -
or 19-14 overall..they'd have arguably been an NCAA Tourney team?

wasn't Loyola something like 25-2 with their lineup intact and people were saying they were NOT a bubble team?

If you are referring to me - I considered them a bubble team but on the outside looking in.

Loyola is fortunate to win MVCT and not have to wait and be disappointed.

another great day when Bruce Pearl gets beat --
..and not just beat - but #16 ranked and TOP SEEDED Auburn got crushed by unranked archrival Alabama 81-63
..then Bruce Pearl tried to pick a fight in the handshake line with the strength coach of Alabama -

Coaches in the " Corrupt 5 conferences" do that. If they don't win they pout and start fights. How dare you beat us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
