2006 was the first year of the Thursday-Sunday format.
Prior to that the format was Friday to Monday.

It was changed to accommodate CBS broadcasting the 2006 championship game on March 5, 2006-

Man, DLo was fouled on his drive but good that Donte was there for the putback
I like that the refs didn't try to control the entire game - they kinda let 'em play!!!

Thanks for the info. I remember going to the games and the semifinals would have huge crowds, and then the title game was on Monday at 8:30 and they usually had about 8-9000.

Did they post the attendance for the afternoon session?

Yes, the posted attendance was 6,410-

The posted attendance last night for the Thursday play-in games was 4,852

I think the Redbirds may have us beat on crowd size, but their trivia player didn??™t know what country is north of the USA. So that knocks them back a bit.

                Recap from BradleyBraves.com
St. Louis – Donte Thomas made sure his collegiate career wouldn't end in the Missouri Valley Conference Quarterfinal as the senior's putback basket lifted the Bradley basketball team to a 63-61 victory on Friday afternoon against Drake, securing Thomas his first trip to the conference semifinals and the first for the BU program in eight years. With the victory, Bradley improves to 20-12 on the season, while the Bulldogs end their campaign with a 16-16 record.

And one more different look at the final Bradley possession. I still thin DLO was fouled.
On this angle you can see how a couple of the Drake players were so focused on denying Darrell Brown the ball, that it made it easy for DLO and Donte to get to the basket.

You could definitely call a foul there, and also traveling on the ensuing Hail Mary. Luckily neither of the no-calls matter!

These are the moments that should make us smile wide.
The suffering as fans for several seasons as we hit rock bottom (hopefully never to return to the dismal state)...the blowouts (even on our home court) in which a moral victory of saving face was the best we could hope for...the absurdity of having a head coach who couldn't coach a high school team, while being paid a million.

NOW we see a jump from 5 total wins to 20...with hard-working and quality young men on the same mission, led by a solid administration and personnel who are dedicated to bringing this program to a sustained level of high achievement. The MOVEMENT has been steadily on the rise and for REAL!

Bradley pride has returned, and despite our different outlooks on Bradley hoops for nearly a decade, we can share the same hope and get back to watching and talking about a great brand of exciting basketball!

                        Bradley fans rock!!!

and the Final Four teams, all Illinois teams, have (barring the unexpected) virtually all of their production back next year - should be fun...

Anyone know how many DB scored in 2H? Can't seem to find anywhere.
Performsnce DSE-esque vs Drake in 2011.
