I just want to say that no matter what happens the rest of the season I am happy with what the team has achieved this year. Nobody was picking BU 4th or 5th (Except some of us fans) at the start of the year. Very few predicted more than 17-18 wins. Add to the fact BU lost a couple close games this year and they could have a couple more wins already. Despite the week non-conference schedule BU has a great chance of getting 20 wins this season. 2 years ago I think almost everyone would have been happy knowing we could get to this spot in only 2 years.
So despite the somewhat disappointing February after a great January, I just want to point out that BU is still meeting and exceeding most people??™s expectations for this year. I want to see them get another win and go deep in the MVC tourney too!
Whatever happens the rest of the season I believe this is only the start and BU will continue to get better next year as well. I am giddy for the next two years as most of these current players become upper class men. The fact they have had the year they have as mostly sophs and freshmen (not to discount donte and dlo) is very positive for the future of the program.
