I think we have to give ISU some credit for the W...they played poorly - took horrible shots in the 1H - some of worst shot selection I've seen in a few seasons.
We outworked them except for about 5 minutes in 2H when they played with some desperation. I thought Barr's energy level was best all season.
Hodgson has played very well the past 2 games. D-LO needs to start hitting his outside shots.
Nice win - let's get to the 4-5 game in the Valley tourney!!

Clock Management
t..... I agree with your comment regarding the need for clock management. Although this has been mentioned several times, our players seem totally unaware of the need for this, especially in the last 4 or 5 minutes of a close game where we are ahead but our opponent has gained some momentum and may be closing in on us.
D. Brown seems to pay no attention at all to this need and often charges ahead with late game bad shots and/or turnovers.
Our coaches need to deal with this and have a good clock management system in place before we lose a game by not having one. This is strictly a coaching issue and should be fairly easy to correct.

I was at the game last night. First game I've watched for the whole game this year. I thought we did not play up to our potential. If we had made some more of the easy bunnies we missed in the first half we could have sailed through the rest of the game. I felt we should have won that game by 20+ points.
I do hope we end up in the 3-6 game, that way we avoid the Loyola side of the bracket.

Dan Muller obviously bears some responsibility for the loss
the game plan apparently was to come out and launch 3-pointers... even though a couple of their better 3-point shooters were out or limited.
What's with Tinsley jacking up so many 3-pointers when he's barely a 20% shooter from "3"
same with Clarance and Hein who are not good 3-pt shooters - in fact Clarance has ony made ONE all year!!!!
They made very little effort to get the ball inside...
the POINTS IN THE PAINT were 25-4 in the 1st half. They have their own fans wondering what was that all about?
N'Diaye only missed one shot, so why didn't they get him the ball?

And to answer the previous question about Coach Muller's game plan- it looked like the first half was to keep shooting threes, but then the second half he apparently wanted Yarbrough to take over.
Ironically, the best ISU looked to me was when Yarbrough checked out with 8:23 remaining, and stayed on the bench until 6:05 remaining. During that short rest, ISU cut the double-digit lead down to 6 points (53-47) and had some momentum going and had Bradley back on their heels. But after Yarbrough returned, Bradley scored 10 of the next 12 points to stretch the lead back to 63-49 and never looked back.
It looked to me like Yarbrough, who played good defense and had a lot of energy in the first half, decided to save his energy for the offensive end, and played somewhat lazy defense in the second half.

when asked why Romine wasn't playing, Muller said it was because he plays the guys who show they can help the team - implying that in practice Romine is lost or doesn't show he contributes anything that would help them win
"ISU coach Dan Muller on Christian Romine: "Christian is available. He practices
and is eligible to play. Every game, I'm playing the guys who in practice show
they'll give us the best chance to win. That doesn't matter what player it is.
That's what we're doing."
that kind of blows away one of the excuses we have heard all year long... that ISU was severely hampered by the guys who
weren't able to play, and would be way better if they had N-Diaye, Clarance and Romine back. But now they have all those guys back and they are the same team.
