The MVC Regular Season Championship

The regular season race is only somewhat meaningful in that it assures at least an NIT bid...
and Loyola has a two game lead on everyone else, and a 3 or more game lead on almost everyone.

BUT just for interest - and despite UNI winning last night..
BOTH Northern Iowa and Valparaiso are ELIMINATED from winning the regular season Championship.
Loyola already has 10 wins and even if they won out, neither UNI nor Valpo can reach the 10-win mark.

Everyone else still has at least a chance..

Indiana State's loss today eliminates them from the MVC regular season championship
and Evansville, who just lost to Missouri State - has also been eliminated.

That means four teams are already eliminated - Valpo, UNI, InSU and Evansville, and they are the four teams that have a big lead on being the Thursday teams.
