  • UC Davis ESPN POD win tonight

UC Davis won on the road in double OT on a running three pointer with 3 seconds left ....all while missing their best player. It??™s nominated for the ESPN Top Ten Plays of the Day. A wild win! Trending on twitter.

Nice, and good for Jim. There was some kind of "violation of team rules" that kept their POY candidate Chima Moneke out of the game. It could affect his availability in future games.

Reminds me of the old days when BU had multiple POD on ESPN.

They played their 4th game without China Moneke, the Big West player of the year. Hopefully, he'll return by the Big West tournament

last year when all his top guards graduated, then his top point guard commit reneged, Jim Les was left without a lot of options for 2017-18...

so he went out and signed an obscure, undersized - but spunky kid from Saddleback junior college named TJ Shorts.

Is it any surprise the kid is one of the best players in the conference right now?
He has the ability to carry the team and win games...and he's about 5-9
