Loyola is making it look easy as they lead MSU 91-70 with 3:30 left. 6 guys in double figures for Loyola with Clayton Custer tied his career high at 23 points. The Ramblers are 7-9 from 1, 27-40 from 2 and 10-19 from. They're good.

Loyola looks really good again today. Making our win Thursday look even better. I don't know what has happened to Missouri State but they are not the same team as they were early in the season.

it shows how important it is for ISU to keep their "Big Three" of Evans, Fayne & Yarbrough on the floor all the time

ISU jumped quickly to a 10-2 lead, then ran out to 25-12, then...
both Fayne and Yarbrough were taken off by Muller when they each got two fouls.
When that happened, in the final 9:58 of the half, ISU only scored 9 more points and gave up 21

ISU's Keyshawn Evans seemed to injure his knee late in the 1st half but nothing was said...Kurt Pegler is even still saying Evans is starting the 2nd half and is still in there playing but he is NOT. He's on the bench with ice on the knee.
                    Their beat guy noted it
Evans had to have knee surgery and missed half of ISU's season back in early 2015-2016. He reinjured his knee a month ago and missed their game against Indiana State.
If he has injured anything internally in his knee, it's a risk that he'd be at risk for missing the rest of the season.

He actually appeared to hurt his knee in their last game, but did not come out of the game. He limped a bit the rest of the game.

And Evansville's point guard, and 2nd leading scorer, Dru Smith is in street clothes and not playing today.

Keyshawn Evans re-injured his left knee in Saturday's game and did not play in the second half of the game. He missed a game earlier in the season with what was called a "bone bruise'.
He underwent an MRI today and was diagnosed with another "bone bruise", but Jim Benson, the ISU beat writer, says it "could be worse".

They are saying he could miss 1-3 weeks.

that could be read two ways...

"...MRI on Keyshawn Evans' knee shows similar bone bruise as before
but could be worse. Projected out 1 to 3 weeks."

-that it isn't too bad and coulda been worse...

-or that it could be WORSE than it was last time...
