Walt Lemon, Jr. honored - Mid-Season All-NBA G-League
Walt??™s game has really improved since leaving BU.. I was really impressed with his work this past summer on team Always a Brave.
I always thought Walt would have been more effective at Bradley if he would have been allowed to play his more natural position of 2-guard, and not point guard, where Geno played him 100% of the time. But then that staff never did recruit a point guard until after Walt left (Tramique Sutherland came in Geno's 4th year).
But, even though I think it hurt Bradley when Walt played out of position, it probably helped Walt develop point guard skills, which is now paying off in his pro career. He is one of the top scorers in the G-League, and also ranks high in assists and steals.
