There was a Division III record for total points in a game set Wednesday night at Greenville University as they beat Fontbonne University 164-154. The total of 318 points beat the previous record of 315 total points set in a game between Grinnell and Simpson in 1994.
It made it on ESPN-
Greenville was 24-79 from three, while Fontbonne was only 5-9 from three. However, Fontbonne was 60-85 overall, so maybe Greenville needs to work on their defense a little.
The game also set a record for most total rebounds with 126 (Fontbonne had 77 and Grenville had 49).
