The good news is that BU being 13-7 and 4-4 in the Valley at this point is really very good considering the number of losses they had this year. And considering JC is out, we have done very nicely! We just have to make sure we take care of business against WSU Saturday. That's a must!
Go Braves!

Creighton tried their hardest to give us that game tonight too. We simply could not capitalize on their turnovers. All we needed was a 5-7 point run, and we could never do it.People need to recognize there is a huge difference between playing hard, and playing well...

Just can't expect to win shooting like that.
I loved the impersonation that Dave Snell did of Joe Stowell at the beginning when he pretended that Dave Snell was sick again and that Stowell was going to have to do the entire game again.
I think the huge and enthusiastic crowd has a lot to do with why teams play so poorly at Qwest, and why Creighton usually does so well.
But we had 'em where we wanted them, they had 21 TO and scored only 65, so BU could have won.
Now we gotta hold the fort at home and pick up a couple other road games elsewhere.
If DA simply did what Nick Bahe did (go 3-4 from long), then it's a whole different game!
We simply couldn't throw it in the ocean!
PS-- who was that guy who wrote the piece in the paper talking about how BU needs to do better with offensive rebounding, and if we did, then we'd win?
Last night, BU actually matched CU in OR's, but it was, of course, the shooting that mattered.
Shooting is almost always the key.
Rebounds still don't put points on the board.

You're right, baskets off of rebounds put points on the board.
