As long as we make Krutwig look normal instead of a lottery pick I like our chances. Might be 2006 since we??™ve had a game of this magnitude. It??™ll be the first of many. Stay aggressive on both ends but limit our turnovers and scoreless stretches should bring us the W! GO BRAVES!

      2 huge embarrassments...

As many of us are getting excited about the program again, and as anticipation of the big game has built, I thought I would make a point of observing a couple things back home in Peoria: Journal Star coverage and game attendance.

Info not care how many years the team has been bad. I habe been depressed and cynical with the best/worst of us. But, like many of us, I have kept the hope alive. However, the Journal Star website is an embarrassment that looks like they barely try and update it, and the game coverage is buried into the Bradley Hoops section. It should at least be sports front page, if not a link or mention or start of an article on the home page. How in the heck do you even inform the community that the program is back with that horrible press?

Second, the game should be close to a sell out, even given all the years of poor performance. What I am seeing on the down in StL is a travesty. This team is playing their ***es off and this is all they get? The current coaches and administration should be raising holy heck behind the scenes, if not in public, over the lack of community support
What the he'll else do you habe to do in Peoria? This team is brining it and deserve more than this. We had decades of tradition before, but Leprians need to get their heads out of you know where. Sorry, but it needs to be said.

I can't blame the fans who became depressed and frustrated with the last 6 miserable seasons, thanks to Joanne and Mike. I actually predicted quite accurately that this would happen. I was the target of scorn by some clueless "fans" who were lead by our local press to believe that the administration and coaches "were doing things the right way".
But if we can continue the upward trajectory, we'll get a lot of those fans back. But a lot have moved away, lost interest, or died waiting for things to turn around. I believe the program and the athletic dept. are in good hands. But lets hope we never see the malignant type of leadership again that got us where we were.

Very entertaining game tonight....was really worried on the missed FT making it a 2 pt game with 11 secs to go! Happy it worked out, Loyola center passing up an open lay up to run out the game clock to tie the game, PRICELESS!

Every time I think about the previous administration, I feel a little sick.

well said but we are now seeing how badly a rogue admin & staff ruined a great athletic department in just a few short years with the help of the shills at PJStar and a few of the enabler, but-kissing fans who thought Joanne was the greatest college Prez ever

I'm proud of our team, Coach Wardle, his coaches and Dr Reynolds.

Great effort in the 2nd half even tho a few calls were horrible and we did not play our best half of basketball...
in the end we gutted it out, played good defense and made free throws.

Heck - it was such an exciting game that if we were ISU we'd have rushed the court! But there's more ahead and now we gotta win Saturday!

Elijah Childs, 18 pts, 7 rebs, a steal & a block and a good job on Krutwig.
I'm kinda surprised Krutwig didn't take that last shot - he gave the game away by passing it out and Custer couldn't get the shot off before the buzzer.

                            Block?

I wonder if he was worried about getting it blocked?

What a great night! This team continues to improve. Let??™s see if we can keep improving and gelling and leave some of the other teams behind by early March. Great win in our process!

Fun to see the fans returning to Carver... its a different event altogether when there are engaged fans in the seats.
                              Compete. Defend. Rebound. Win.
