I do not personally know anything more than what is posted, but this main Coaches vs. Cancer auction page has the following headline-

So they are apparently signed. As far as documentation, I suspect they will come with some form of an invoice that should provide pretty good provenance. But, I would guess that Coach Wardle would also be willing to provide some kind of letter of authenticity if the buyer asked the Bradley basketball office.

Just from my own experience as a collector, I would say generally, sports memorabilia doesn't usually make for good investments. Most collectors of sports memorabilia just like such items for their own enjoyment or display.

Note that since the money is going to a legitimate charity, a portion of the purchase price may be deductible as a charitable deduction.
