I have never attacked the kid - so give it up on the BS that I have - heck, as I posted once before- I am even distantly related to the kid thru my wife's grandfather...I harbor no ill will, just offering facts & stats to counter the over-the-top hype that the kid had NBA potential and was as good as Alec Peters...
I like the kid and hope he does great- but he would have benefited from a redshirt year just like virtually everyone who knows college basketball, every recruiter and every school that recruited him already knew despite the unreasonable hype.

I think even Muller knew that and would have redshirted him except he's desperate for any healthy body over 6-6.

I joined this board because I like to talk basketball with like minded fans, similar to what I do at the Pekin holiday tournament with my other retired friends. Since the time of my joining, I have never attacked any individual Bradley players. To do so, in this old guy’s opinion, would be petty and demeaning. Yet I continue to see cheap shots spewn forth against a small town kid. Why? I was out at Illini Bluffs when Porter Moser and an assistant were there to recruit Bruninga. They didn’t get him, but do you think the Loyola forum, if there is one, continues with a vendetta against the kid? In the words of Rodney King, “Can’t we all just get along”? There is no need for vitriol. It’s college basketball. Let’s enjoy it.

Will you please point out the "cheap shots spewn forth" and "vitriol" that you claim to have seen? As the primary moderator, I would not be likely to allow cheap shots or vitriol spewn at any players.

And for the record, your suggestion that Bradley fans are petty and demeaning because "they didn't get him" is absurd. Bradley never offered Bruninga, and never seriously recruited him.

and I don't think anyone has ever said you did...I am not even sure why you feel the need to defend that point...
but Bradley fans who are pro-Bradley and NOT pro-ISU need make no apologies on their own message board.
I have never seen anyone even hint that ISU fans need to be kind to Bradley....least of all on their own board and, of course, they are NOT..
Heck, ISU fans are far harsher towards their own players than anyone here is towards anyone.

Not BS. You seem to enjoy the games he only scores 3 points.

I rarely enjoy anything good or bad about an ISU game...
I simply noted a stat, we have guys who go scoreless and some people mention that, too but I don't have a meltdown when they do

Some people maybe, but they don’t seem to enjoy it. But I wouldn’t mind if his 3 points were all isu would score.
