A towering 7-foot-1 and 245-pound Class of 2019 prospect, Boya proved
multiple times this season just how under the radar he is. The Bradley-
commit had a whopping nine blocks against IMG Academy in the beginning of
the season.
Boya, known for thunderous dunks and high percentage finishes inside, also
expanded his all around scoring. He??™s become more comfortable putting the
ball on the floor and has evolved into a one dribble, attack the rim threat.
During his first-ever season in America with the Conrad School in Orlando,
Boya was able to score strictly off his athleticism alone.
That meant converting high lob passes into easy and emphatic two handed
flushes. Now he??™s posting up, finishing with either hand, exploiting
mismatches inside and incorporating a short-range jumper into his arsenal.
Bradley got a steal with a high level athlete and high-major caliber recruit in
the Cameroon native."
Abraham Makumator, Neumann High School The 7-foot-1, 235 man-child has an exceptional motor. This factor has helped Makumator become an adroit and powerful finisher around (and above the rim). He’s got the sheer strength and adequate rim protection required for effective two-way bigs at the next level. Makumator, he of the 7-foot-6 wingspan, has interest […]
as of now - 2019
but he is working hard to complete some academics and could be here this fall in 2018 - just won't know for a while..
Prediction: If we can't get him here this fall and he reclassifies he will not end up at Bradley. Let's hope he gets that academic work done this summer.

An athlete can reclassify or change his graduation date, but it requires more electronic paperwork plus CERTIFYING your new graduation date -
this is done by submitting (either electronically or by paper) a high school transcript with the new graduation date clearly denoted. A high school diploma is not even sufficient - but NCAA does accept a "proof of graduation letter" on school letterhead signed by an administrator outside of athletics, including month/day/year of your graduation, or a statement indicating when you met all graduation requirements".
More so than ever, basketball programs at the prep and grassroots level are moving at a furious pace to incorporate international talent....
elsewhere a couple reports hinted we might know by June if he can reclassify as 2018

we don't have anyone over 6-7 currently that can make that move or many of the others I have seen Ari make
True, but that move was sub-par. Elite athletes should be able to block that shot because his footwork was not good, nor did he really use his body to create space.

I know I am watching a 6 second video on an 18 year old way to closely but hey I am hungry for improvement on the hilltop.
That was a slow move with no power behind it at all and then he goes to a fade away. Although it doesn't get stolen from him, the ball is way to far away from his body, keeps that up and he will get eaten up in the Valley.
I understand he is raw, just hope we see some growth in strength and footwork throughout the summer.
